My boyfriend and I first came into contact with Matt during the summer of 2014 when we were looking to purchase a one-bedroom condo in Vancouver. Neither of us knew Vancouver very well, since I lived in BC’s interior and my boyfriend lived in Chicago. Therefore, it was very important to find the right realtor for us, not only someone whom we fully trusted, but also one who could find just the right home for us. Due to the geographical distances involved, our initial conversations with Matt were entirely by telephone, where he repeatedly demonstrated his excellent communication skills. He was always completely professional, patient and very pleasant to talk to. An excellent listener, Matt very quickly got a good sense of the type of home and neighbourhood where we would feel comfortable. Before long, he had us looking at several possible homes via his online website. After we selected our favourite condos on-line, it was time to actually visit them in person. Not only was Matt instrumental in setting up six (!) viewings in one day to accommodate my schedule, but he also personally drove us to each of the sites, giving up several hours of his family time on a sunny Saturday. Throughout this entire experience, it was a pleasure having Matt as our constant guide because of his pleasant, cheerful demeanour. Once we decided on the right place for us, Matt stood by us every step of the way, skillfully steering us through the legal processes of ensuring all the details were taken care of in a timely fashion. Never did we feel in the dark, abandoned or pressured by Matt. If we had a question, and we had many, Matt was always quick to find the answers. Any bumps along the way were met head-on by Matt, always remaining positive, professional and genuinely interested.

I wasn’t planning to work with a buyer’s realtor since I had some experiences and I knew where to find new listings. I met Adam from his open house. When I mentioned a few downtown buildings I was interested in, he could provide accurate information towards them, such as pending insurance issue, leaking problem, young tenant (party building), or good reputation, well maintained, good appreciation in the past years etc. His knowledge and experience are just what I needed. So I decided to give him a try. We saw a few OK but not great listings, rather than push me, he encouraged me to wait. After 2.5 months working together, we got a great deal: a nice unit with a lower-end market price. He is a very hard working and kind person with a good work ethic. I could trust his opinions totally. His negotiation skills saved me thousands of bucks. I am happy that I worked with him, although I am a Chinese and not speaking good English, I had no trouble working with him. He was always patient and explained all details nicely. I learned a lot from working with him.

When my husband and I arbitrarily walked into the Century 21 office in Yaletown, Vancouver and met Adam for the first part time we were immediately impressed by his sincerity and calm demeanor. We decided right then and there that he was the agent we wanted to work with to secure an investment property in Vancouver. That was two years ago. Since then Adam has worked with us at every step of the way, through two attempts that did not result in a purchase and finally one that did. Throughout all the going back and forth, the numerous emails and telephone calls, Adam’s assistance was outstanding. We reside in Hong Kong but Adam never allowed the time difference to get in the way. His responses were immediate and he did whatever he could at his end to accommodate our physical distance. You might say that on his side there would have been so many disappointments over the two years when dealing with us, but Adam never resented our decisions, instead he supported us while providing sound and excellent advice.
